A Year Ago

A year ago my baby sister became a Mrs. As the oldest sibling my job has been to "protect" and look out for my siblings. I have to admit that I was nervous about Jennifer getting married, I mean really how could she possibly know what was good for her she was entirely too young to get married! ; ) Jennifer was always the "responsible" child, the one who never got caught doing anything bad, got good grades, blah, blah... She never "needed" her big sister, she was so stubborn. As an adult I have come to respect her so much. Jennifer is smart, beautiful, trusting, kind...I am so proud of the woman she has become! I am so happy to call her my sister AND my friend!

And since she and Christopher have been married she has been SO happy! They are two peas in a pod! Christopher is a great guy that loves and respects Jennifer.

Flashback Friday

I guess I'm keeping with the weddings for Fridays and it is even more appropriate because this couple's 1st anniversary is this Sunday.... My cousin, Stacy, was married last year on July 12th. I can''t believe it has already been a year! Stacy is like a sister that was born to another mother, her mother is my mom's twin.

Flashback Friday

In December of 2007 Joe and I traveled to Savannah, Georgia with his mom and Mike to witness their marriage.

Mike's children live in Georgia and were able to drive down for the day and join us. Mike & Barb, my MIL, were married at Forsyth Park...it was decorated for Christmas and completely GORGEOUS! Savannah is a beautiful historical city and I hope one day that Joe and I can visit it again. We had such a good time and treasure those memories!

Ask And You Shall Receive

I have received several requests for more pictures of my sister's, Jennifer, gown and I finally have them. She told me I could post my favs and I couldn't narrow it down very well. I love them all! Her photographer, Jessica Sherrell, was amazing! Jennifer had the 5th one down framed for the reception, she let my dad choose his favorite.

Wedding Take Two...

So I can't wait for Jennifer to come back from her honeymoon to post these gorgeous pictures of her!!!! She has grown into such a beautiful woman! Didn't my mom do an amazing job on her dress!?!?!? (and of course I HAVE to include pictures of my kiddos!)

What a whirlwind of a weekend! This past Saturday my baby sister, Jennifer, got hitched! It was a gorgeous outdoor ceremony completed with a serenade from her husband. I am so happy that she has found someone that loves her so much and I wish them a lifetime of happiness! I have posted a few of my fav "old skool" pics of Jennifer and then some of the wedding.
