Playroom

Tonight I was attempting to "clean" the playroom and I decided that it needs something new. No, not another toy but more decor! I am thinking of painting some stretched canvas and somehow use Corbin and Devin's names and put them on either side of the "PLAY"...I'm just not sure. I need some input. What do you guys think?

I painted the star border by making my own template and tracing it with pencil and then flip-flopping it every other star. I then went back and painted them chocolate brown. It took a little over 3 hours.

I made the "PLAY" art by purchasing large wood letters, a bag of wooden stars, rope "yarn" in the hardware section at Wal-Mart, 4 unfinished wooden plaques, Gorilla Glue and spray paint (blue, tan and chocolate brown) It took about 4 days of painting and letting the paint dry, adding MULTIPLE coats and then gluing everything together.

I also made the coat/bag/blanket rack using the paint and stars from the "PLAY" art work

I was super excited when I found these at Tuesday Morning!

I found a lady on Ebay to make this. Super cute huh?!?
