I put a small 3ft tree in our master bedroom this year. I decided to put some black tule and feathers in with the existing decorations and I think it turned out pretty cute.

Copycat Weekend Project
I have been inspired by my fellow blogging buddies to do some new projects and I am so pleased with the results! I have seen several of you do these projects and you gave me the "bug" to do them myself. (and it gave me a reason to go to Micheal's!) I'm glad that you all are so crafty and creative so I can copy you! ; ) The fabric garland was a lot easier than I thought it would be and now I want to make one for every room! The coasters were another easy project that took less than 20 minutes! What do ya think?

Jess, it looks fabulous! I want to do one of those ragamuffin garlands too. I just don't have all of the colors I would need.
I love all of your projects. You make everything look so easy. Love the fabric garland. I would love to make one of those myself.
I love how the garland turned out!! I can't believe I missed seeing your new decorations for the tree, they look so good!

Everything turned out really nice! I love the Tree,.... and what a sweet idea to have a small one in the bedroom as well. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! =O)
They all look GREAT!! I want to try the coasters for some Christmas gifts as well! Your's look wonderful! Where did you get the tiles?

I got the tikes at Lowe's. FYI Home Depot doesn't sell 4x4 tiles that are unfinished. (they ony have 4x4 tiles with a glaze)
Oh, I love the garland and the coasters! I'm doing the coasters too and I know it would only take me about five minutes, but I need to pick out the pictures...which obviously takes me weeks. ?! And I want a tree for our bedroom too! I've been on the lookout for a cheapo one to put in there. Love it!
