Future Ballplayer

He was really getting a "feel" for the bat...

Practicing his swing...

Look at that grip! ; )

He is such a natural!

Corbin is growing like a weed!!! He is crawling all over the place and tonight I found myself trying to hunt him down. It is amazing at how much quicker Corbin is picking up on things than Devin did. I guess studying Devin's every move is helping Corbin to get ahead. the most exciting development is him saying "mama"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LUUUUUUUUVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next Tuesday we take Corbin to be measured for his DOC band. I'm not really looking forward to him having to wear the ugly thing but we did it with Devin so it's nothing new. For those of you who are asking"What is a DOC band?" it is a "helmet" to reshape his head. Because of the way he was laying in utero his head is misshaped and we are correcting it so he isn't the kid that gets made fun of for being "weird".

They boys Easter outfits came in today and I can hardly wait to get them dressed for church on Sunday! The boys and I went shopping today and we got Devin some new dress shoes...

Even though Devin had a small melt down while trying the shoes on...I think he was just tired. The two guys working the kids shoe area thought it was quit funny and actually said "Dude, I wish I had a video camera for this one"....not sure how to take that. Anywho. I found the boys some cute summer shorts, myself some shirts and we went to the Mecca for all crafters, Hobby Lobby, and got myself some new painting projects. Next week I will have a TON of pictures to post of my latest craftiness.

On a more serious note, I need some real prayer warriors... Because of this delicate issue I don't want to mention names...my husband has a close friend that recently found out that his mother has cancer...I don't know many details...please keep her and her family in your prayers.

First, I wanted to say how cute he is!! And that we have that same yellow outfit. I had no idea that babies had to wear the helmets because of how they lay in utero!!! That was interesting. I had only heard about people fixing flat heads from laying on their backs too much. I have also heard that it is awful getting them fitted for it--I am sorry!
