Sew Busy

After having no tree skirt in our front room for 3 years I finally got around to making one. The center is a raised-printed taffeta and the brown trim is dupioni silk and I love it! It works perfectly with the decor in the room and the best part is it was FREE! I already had all the fabric from a custom order last year. I always buy extra fabric for an order when it is a fabric that I really like.

And I have started working on a memory blanket for Corbin for Christmas. I made one for Devin when he was a baby and he still sleeps with it every night.


I used the bib from his first birthday...

I think these blankets are a great way to preserve memories without putting ANOTHER box in the attic.
